Ask us about the:

 HomeSchooling Parent Support Service

Katie Lee, the owner, has an extensive amount of experience working with homeschooled children, parents, local authorities, specifically with/for students with Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA).

Navigating the homeschool system, alongside a child who is suffering with EBSA, can feel overwhelming and scary.

I am here to help.

This service is specifically for parents who want to teach their child but want to ensure it is done at a high level and with support.

Parent Support

With my training and experience, I can offer parents support with starting the homeschool process, the paperwork and assisting with emails to local authority.

I am an ear to the difficulties of the education system, the worries about your student suffering with school related anxiety and someone you can trust in terms of supporting you and your child's education.

We will meet for up to 30 minutes a week to discuss the child's needs.

Curriculum Design

Alongside you, the parent, I will design your homeschool curriculum, long term plans, medium term plans. This eases the workload stress and confusion that may be experienced by the parent to begin with. Long term plans can be made by myself or collaboratively with parents and students, integrating the National Curriculum along with the students interests and needs.

Assessment

All assessments will be conducted by a professional teacher, most likely with Katie. These will inform the weekly and half termly planning, ensuring that lessons delivered by parents will bridge gaps of their child's knowledge and push them academically.

Weekly Lesson Planning and Homework Service

Katie will provide daily tasks for your child to complete online and for the parent to facilitate, to ensure they are working towards their academic goals.

Emotional Help and Long Term School Integration Planning

For children experiencing emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), returning to education isn’t simply about academics - it’s about rebuilding a sense of safety, confidence, and trust.

This service is designed to gently support both the child and their family through that journey.

I offer dedicated emotional support sessions alongside personalised long-term integration planning, helping each child move at a pace that feels manageable and empowering.

What this includes:

  • 1:1 Emotional Support Sessions (monthly)
Creating a calm, safe space where your child can express feelings, build confidence, and begin to reframe their relationship with learning.

  • Understanding the Root Cause
Identifying underlying anxieties, triggers, or barriers that may be contributing to school avoidance.

  • Gradual Reintegration Planning (meetings with parents half termly)
A step-by-step, realistic plan tailored to your child, created with parent - whether that’s transitioning into part-time schooling, alternative provision, or further support with
    structured home learning.

  • Parent Support & Guidance
Offering reassurance, practical strategies, and ongoing communication so you feel supported every step of the way.

  • School Liaison (where needed)
Support with preparing for meetings or communicating with schools to ensure your child’s needs are understood and respected.
